19. Suburb Murder (1992)

18. Metal Days (1986)

Guy shows Dave METAL DAYS, an early work from 1986 by the legendary Shozin Fukui (964 PINOCCHIO, RUBBER'S LOVER). We dive deep into its production, Guy's personal connection with Fukui, and why the film is yet to be released (and its possible future). 17. The Murder Secret (1988)

Dave shows Guy THE MURDER SECRET from 1988. Spoiler warning: Guy does not have a good time. THE MURDER SECRET is a made-for-TV (but not actually shown-on-TV) horror film from Italy with some jaw-dropping not-safe-for-TV gore and a very strange production history. 16. Blood Brothers (1989)

Guy shows Dave BLOOD BROTHERS from 1989, directed by Mike Diana. Diana is the best known as the first person to receive a criminal conviction in the United States for "artistic obscenity". This ridiculous conviction was targeted at his underground comic books. But before his trouble with the law, Diana utilised that same "artistic obscenity" in zero budget movies starring his family members! Strap on in! This is a wild one!

15. A Haunted Turkish Bathhouse (1975)

Dave shows Guy A HAUNTED TURKISH BATHHOUSE from 1975, a jaw-dropping mash-up of pinky violence and ghost cat horror. Toei Company puts together a great team for this. They stole Naomi Tani from Nikkatsu and threw the brilliant Kazuhiko Yamaguchi in the director's chair to give us a colourful, blood-soaked revenge trip. Featuring a vengeful cat monster that looks like the lead singer of a glam rock band!

14. Red Spell Spells Red (1983)

Guy shows Dave RED SPELL SPELLS RED from 1983. Imagine if CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST and EVIL DEAD had a baby, which then got stung by hundreds of scorpions and went into anaphylactic shock. The result would be RED SPELL SPELLS RED—a sickening journey into the chaotic world of Hong Kong black magic cinema!

13. The Bucks Party (1978) with Steve Jodrell

Dave shows Guy THE BUCKS PARTY from 1978. THE BUCKS PARTY is a criminally underseen Australian film that follows the increasingly disturbing antics of a beer-soaked bachelor party. It is a tense Wake-In-Fright-like trip to macho hell. We are lucky enough to have a special guest this episode, as Steve Jodrell, director of THE BUCKS PARTY (and many more great films and TV shows), comes on board to discuss his work!

12. Id (2005)

Guy makes Dave watch ID (or IDO) from 2005, directed by the legendary Kei Fujiwara of ORGAN and TETSUO fame. The film is complex with a convoluted narrative, but Guy and Dave (mainly Guy) try their best to unravel it. Guy also speaks about his experience meeting Fujiwara!

11. Don’t Stop My Crazy Love for You (1993)

Dave makes Guy watch DON'T STOP MY CRAZY LOVE FOR YOU from 1993, starring HK legends Yvonne Yung Hung and Simon Yam. This is our first Hong Kong film and we get very excited talking about our experiences with Category III cinema.
