11. Don’t Stop My Crazy Love for You (1993)

Dave makes Guy watch DON'T STOP MY CRAZY LOVE FOR YOU from 1993, starring HK legends Yvonne Yung Hung and Simon Yam. This is our first Hong Kong film and we get very excited talking about our experiences with Category III cinema.

10. Nightdreams (1981)

In this episode, Guy makes Dave watch NIGHTDREAMS from 1981. This is the first time we dive into the world of porn, and it is one hell of a strange journey. Featuring creepy masks, post-coitus fish, cowgirls, Satan, and a man in a toast costume playing a saxophone.

9. Duck! The Carbine High Massacre (1999)

In this episode, Dave deeply upsets Guy by making him watch DUCK! THE CARBINE HIGH MASSACRE from 1999. You can probably tell by the title and release date that the subject matter is very problematic and distressing. The execution of the film might surprise you though.

8. The Worm Eaters (1977)

In this episode, Guy makes Dave watch THE WORM EATERS, which is tantamount to torture. The Worm Eaters is from 1977. It stars Herb Robins and several bucketloads of worms. Robins also directed and wrote it, which raises a troubling question about his feelings towards worms. This film is a proper nightmare.

7. American Hunter (1988)

In this episode, Dave makes Guy watch AMERICAN HUNTER from Indonesian action movie master, Arizal! American Hunter stars (the son of) Hollywood royalty and features some of the most ankle-snapping, scream-inducing stunts put to film! If you like people doing running flips off walls, this film is a must-see.

6. Red Account: My Bloody Angel (1988)

In this episode, Guy makes Dave watch RED ACCOUNT: MY BLOODY ANGEL. It starts as a fairly standard AV film then evolves/devolves into something much more violent and bizarre. Truly one of the most jaw-droppingly weird and gross films to come out of late 80s Japan!

4. The Infernal Rapist (1988)

In this episode, Guy makes Dave watch Mexican exploitation flick, THE INFERNAL RAPIST from 1988. The lurid title sounds like something out of 1990s Hong Kong, and the film itself is very much tonally in tune with CAT III cinema!
